Belltown - tiptoeing through the peas

This is an amazing pea-patch in Bell Town.  I took the picture in the evening on a rainy day so I'm linking to the locations section of the official website.  I KNOW there are a ton of great pics out there so if you need inspiration, this is a great start.  The pea-patches are well worth visiting.

Robots going at it....grrrr!

The Robot Competitions between the high schools.  I'm so sorry about the quality of the pics!  You can see the energy there though.  We finally understood the concept by the end of the event and we still had a blast!  We were so impressed by the students...just having so much enthusiasm and fun. 

They were starting to break down but this is where the competitors were put together and repaired.

Skimboarding

We caught this guy skimboarding at the beach in Carkeek Park.   He was very brave and patient!  There were HUGE rocks that he kept hitting.

Library Passport Awards

When I went through my phone, I found these of the awards for doing the passport program at the Libraries.  I really think that having the awards, in this great, interior space, was wonderful.  If it had been in a conference room somewhere?...just not the same.
